Director, Animal Care & Life Support Systems - Full Time
The Director of Animal Care and Life Support is responsible for researching, creating, and maintaining the highest quality husbandry standards for the animals and sea life in the care of Florida Oceanographic.

Animal Care Specialist
The Animal Care Specialist works as a key part of the Florida Oceanographic Animal Care and Life Support staff. Responsibilities include the feeding and husbandry of all aquariums and exhibit animals, as well as maintaining a 750,000 gallon gamefish lagoon, aquarium life support systems, ray tank, touch tanks, and individual aquariums.

Paid Education Internship
Do you have a background in biology, marine biology, environmental science, or science education and a desire to build a career in one of these fields? We are looking for degree-seeking students (or recent graduates) interested in gaining experience or possible college credit through an internship with the Education Department at Florida Oceanographic Society. This paid internship requires a minimum commitment of at least ten weeks and three 6-hour shifts (18 hrs.) per week, including both weekend shifts. The Education Internship position involves considerable public speaking.
