As a state with 31% of its landmass covered in wetlands, Florida has a love/hate relationship with these critical ecosystems. Explore the history and importance of wetlands in the Sunshine State and measures to conserve what remains of these special places.
The Coastal Lecture Series has returned to the Blake Library in Stuart! These free lectures will be held on Tuesday nights from January 10th through March 14th, starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. We are also offering a live simulcast of all lectures for anyone who would like to participate from the comfort of their own home.
To Attend In Person: Registration is not required to attend in-person at the Blake Library. Seating at the library is limited, so we recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early. Lectures will begin at 6:30 p.m.
