Get a better understanding of the problems our waterways face, and the possible solutions at Florida Oceanographic Society’s annual Rally for the River!
Free all-ages community awareness event!
Saturday, November 16, from 10 am - 2 pm
Downtown Stuart's Flagler Park
Event Highlights:
~ Oyster Shell Bagging Station ~ Mangrove Plantings ~ Educational Booths ~ Hands-on Demonstrations ~ Marine Mammal Rescue Ambulance ~Children's Activities and Face Painting

Participating organizations include the City of Stuart, Be Floridian Now, Marine Resources Council, UF/IFAS Florida Sea Grant, FDEP Indian River Lagoon Aquatics Preserve, Rivers Coalition, River Kidz, ORCA, FAU Harbor Branch, Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, Students4H20, Keep Martin Beautiful, Florida Native Plant Society, Audubon of Martin County, and The Everglades Law Center, Inc.
Want to learn more? Join Florida Oceanographic's Dr. Zack Jud for a guided nature sailing aboard the Schooner Lily.
Two special sailings will run from the downtown dock. Tickets are $35 for adults / $20 for children with half of the ticket price being donated back to Florida Oceanographic Society.
