"Restoring Oysters to Save Our Waters" Webinar

Oysters are well known as commercially important food products, but did you know they provide numerous benefits to our local waterways? These benefits include improving water clarity and even protecting shorelines from erosion! However, oysters face a number of challenges from transformations to our local watershed, disease and climate change. For over a decade, Florida Oceanographic Society has been working to restore these important oyster ecosystem services to improve the health of the Indian River Lagoon.
