Oyster Shell Bag Shuttling
About the Event
We are looking for volunteers to help us shuttle filled oyster bags onto trailers and trucks. This event does require lifting the oyster bags.
- Please note that face coverings are required by everyone.
- We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, grubby clothes and be prepared to be in the sun.
- We will have sanitized gloves for you to use, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Volunteers will need to be able to walk the ½ mile trail down to the oyster shell tables and be able to lift the oyster bags.
Meet our staff outside of the Visitor’s Center just before 9am. Due to COVID-19 we have limited space available for this event, so please RSVP online.
Registration for this event closes on Friday, April 2nd, at 3:15pm or when full.
