Oyster Reef Restoration Project - FULL

Take part in habitat restoration with us as we build Community Oyster Restoration Enhancement (CORE) modules that will be deployed to create oyster reefs at our restoration sites. Construction of the modules involves assembling liquid cement mixture and oyster shells into molds.

  • Participants should wear clothes that can get wet and dirty, closed-toe shoes, face coverings, a hat, and sunglasses.
  • Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. 
  • Gloves will be provided.
  • This event is held outdoors with some shade. 
  • Minimum age for this event is 18 years old. 

Meet us outside of our Visitor’s Center.  Space is limited so please RSVP online.

Registration closes on Monday, April 19th, at 3:15pm or when full.
